We are delighted to bring you the first ScotGEN learning resources, including tools for family history taking and animations of mitosis and mieosis. These are all available for download to use for teaching and study purposes. We will continue to add and improve resources over the coming months, so please keep watching the site as it grows. Look out for the Coming Soon box, which tells you a little about resources nearing completion.

The Scottish Genetics Education Network (ScotGEN) is a network for all individuals involved in teaching genetics for healthcare in Scotland. ScotGEN was established in 2005 as a collaboration of the 4 Scottish Clinical Genetics Centres with Scottish Universities.
Healthcare professionals need to understand genetics and its application to everyday practice. There are only a limited number of experienced teachers of Clinical Genetics. We hope that by providing a forum and access to a range of resources, ScotGEN will expand and improve genetic education for healthcare in Scotland.
