The Scottish Genetics Education Network (ScotGEN) is a network for all individuals involved in teaching genetics for healthcare in Scotland. ScotGEN was established in 2005 as a collaboration of the 4 Scottish Clinical Genetics Centres with Scottish Universities.
Healthcare professionals are required to having an understanding of basic genetics and application to everyday practice. There are only a limited number of experienced teachers of Clinical Genetics in Scotland.
We hope that by providing access to a range of learning and teaching resources, ScotGEN will expand and improve genetic education for healthcare professionals in Scotland.
